We do the best we can under the circumstances. I mean, when I shoot in a dimly lit music club and the shutter speed is so slow that everything gets blurred you just have to improvise if you want something to come of it. I could have said, as the title of the image suggests, that this is a painting from a just discovered ancient cave that proves music was a powerful force thousands of years ago. (It probably was.) Instead, I inserted a colored, textured background, applied the image over it, then pushed and pulled the pixels until I got what I wanted.
