The JRAC Musicians & Artists Showcase

On Wednesday, May 25, 2016 the Fareed Haque Quintet performed Chick Corea’s TOUCHSTONE album from 1982. The group included Fareed Haque on guitars, Reggie Thomas on piano/keys, Marlene Rosenberg on bass, Juan Pastor on Cajon/percussion, and Rodrigo Villanueva on drums. That same night I had the delightful opportunity to showcase a portfolio of musicians and artists who have performed at JRAC, The Jazz Record Art Collective, over the past almost 3 years.

JRAC events are produced by Chris Anderson and this gallery is a tribute to the work he has done in Chicago’s jazz community.

The Jazz Record Art Collective,” occurs every month at the Fulton Street Collective, located at 1821 W. Hubbard St., in Chicago. Each month a new lineup of jazz musicians, painters, and photographers, perform and respond to a different earlier important jazz record and musician.

Many images from this showcase are available for purchase as 5×7, 11×14, 16×20, and 20×30 matted prints. Please contact me through this site for special pricing. Thanks!
